Family Night, July 16

I went to Camp Lowden for Family Night on July 16. Wow! I've never seen that many people at camp for a Family Night. The grounds were full of families picnicking for dinner and around the field was standing room only for the games.
In addition I had the opportunity to be involved in two award ceremonies. One was the presentation of the Heroism Award to Joah Jahnke that I posted yesterday. The other was an overdue Eagle presentation to Sean McCleary who left for college before we were able to have his ceremony.

Work continues on the Boeger Leadership Lodge with the back side of the roof being completed except for the space where the solar cell will go.
And the landscaping started with the placement of some of the retention walls.

One of the changes to both of our summer camps this year was the addition of the paint ball range. It has proven to be a big hit with the campers.
